The mist and... somebody else?

Through the trees, I noticed an area where the mist was particularly thick. And as I went closer, I saw a moving shape in the midst of the mist. The shape of a person!... I think... Then the mist got so thick that I couldn't see anything anymore. I was scared so I ran away.

No no. This isn't anything like Robin's imaginary friend. "It" didn't seem friendly. More like looming and waiting.

My mother always sends us to grandmother's on our own. She doesn't want us to go together. I don't know why.

And she also tells you to stay on the path. If you do that, nothing bad will happen!

I've been there too. There's no person. There's just a place where the mist gets very concentrated. Above the water, sort of in the middle. I'm sure there's a natural explanation for this that I don't care about.

Hey, welcome to the forest, sis! ;)

You're probably right. It's probably just one of those mysterious natural phenomena. Richard Attenborough should visit our forest!

Heh, it was probably nothing. Nature and imagination combined does some weird stuff!
Have you been off the path before?

I love her dearly. But she's sick and in bed. And whenever I ask her something like this, she just smiles with tears in her eyes.
